These terms cover honest.repair (the “Service”). By using it you agree to them.

Not a diagnosis

honest.repair estimates fair price ranges for car and HVAC repairs from the quotes, photos and vehicle data you provide. Results are informational estimates. They are not a diagnosis, an inspection, or legal, insurance or financial advice, and they don't guarantee what a specific job should cost. A licensed pro who has examined the job may have good reasons for a different price.

Free audit and payments

• One free audit per verified mobile number and device.
• After that: Honest at $19/month for unlimited audits, or a one-time $29 Pro audit for a single quote.
• Honest renews monthly until cancelled; cancel anytime and keep access to the end of the paid period.

Text messages (TCPA disclosure)

When you request a code you agree to: “I agree to receive a one-time verification code by text and agree to the Terms and Privacy Policy. Msg & data rates may apply.” We text you only a one-time verification code each time you request one. We don't send marketing texts. Reply STOP to quit, HELP for help. Pros

honest.repair is an advertising and software platform, not a contractor, referral service or party to any repair contract. You contract directly with any pro you choose and pay the pro directly. honest.repair doesn't solicit, negotiate or collect payment for repair contracts and receives no portion of any job price.

Pros pay a flat $199 monthly software and advertising subscription. It is an advertising fee, not a referral fee or commission, and doesn't depend on whether any job results or its price.

OBD2 scanners

Clearing trouble codes erases diagnostic data your mechanic or an emissions inspection may need. Only use the scanner while parked or as a passenger.

Your uploads

Only upload documents you have the right to share. You grant us a license to process them to provide the Service. See the Privacy Policy.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided as is, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
